Lots to say today.
This is Rick with the machine that takes out the stem cells. He was on the machine for only 4 hours and produced (overproduced) 7 million cells. They need 5 mill they like 6 mill and rick gave them 7 mill! What a little ripper!
New News News I have a new date! It looks like my chemo conditioning will start on March 1 and if the same schdelue is kept then transplant day will be March 7th. I won't know for sure until an appt. with Doc Morton next Friday.
I took a coedine based pain killer on Wednesday night and have been a blown up pink balloon since. my chest and back and arms are swollen and itchy. I've been to the emerg docs and given antihistamine. but it is not going down easily. This is the first time that I've felt 'sick' and I haven't even started the tough stuff. I'm also on anitbiotics in case there is an infection conection to my Hickman's.
I've stayed home today. Joyce, Gene&Jo, and Rick have gone out to Melany/Montville for lunch then down to Eumundie and are on the way to Caloundra then home. For those of you not in Australia get out your google earth.
more later
